Project Life by Stampin Up Traditional Scrapbook Page

Happy Friday! Are you enjoying your summer? Although the heat hasn't been as bad (yet) as normal, I can say my morning runs have been pretty brutal. I think I am ready for FALL!

This morning I am showing you my very favorite project I created for the display boards at convention. I think the reason I love it so much is because of the colors! This was created completely from Project Life by Stampin' Up Everyday Adventure Cards.

I placed a few of the larger cards down on a piece of 12 x 12 Whisper White Cardstock. Then I put my pictures (my girls on the cruise in May!) and added a smaller card on the right.

Then, I just went to town with my Hexagon punch! I chose cards that had a solid color pattern and just punched away. I probably only used 4-5 whole cards (out of the 100!) I used the Typeset Die and one of these cards to punch the title.

And, last, I added a PLxSU journal card. It again was from the same box!

And a few Crushed Curry Twine bows. Some of the hexagons were flat and some of them were popped up with Dimensionals.
Obviously, this is not the intended use of the PLxSU cards, but I love to use them for MANY things in my craft room! :-)

Make sure you check out our Display Stampers board on Pinterest!

The next group of Stamp Club to go is almost full!
Hurry and sign up to get your spiral bound catalog!

My next class, Teacher Gifts, is available in person or To go!

Now, I am going to show you two things I made for this year's Inspire Create, Share convention. I was honored when I was asked to contribute to this year's display boards! It is a thrill!
I made a simpler version of this for my swaps. But, for the display, I used a mask for the background, the Amazing Birthday stamp set, and of course had to add some stitching!
I stamped the large stamp several times in different colors and then cut one segment off of each color and added them to the banner with Dimensionals.

Here is another Amazing Birthday sample. I focused on the fun banners with this card. I inked the birthday stamp up with Stampin' Write markers and then cut them out and popped them up as well.

Make sure you find out Pinterest board to follow all the display stampers as they reveal their creations!

Ok, that's it for me today! :-)

Project Life by Stampin' Up- Playground (Artisan Blog Hop)

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another week in our July Artisan  Blog Hop!

Today's project focuses on the Project Life by Stampin' Up Playground card and accessory sets. While I was at convention last week, I took some pictures that show all of the amazing things you get in these packs! The card set is only $15.95 and the accessory pack is only $9.95. That is an incredible value for what you get!

So my project is little, but I think its so cute! This little guy was made with one of the larger cards!
It holds any kind of treat you might want to give away... as long as it's little! :-)
I also used the Amazing Birthday stamp and my new favorite Crushed Curry Taffeta Ribbon.

If you are interested in learning more about Project Life by Stampin Up, please check out my upcoming class. This little guy above is one of the things we will be making!

Ok, you're off to my sweet friend Jane Lee. Here we are at convention last week! Missing her and all my other SU friends so much this week!

Teacher Gifts Class

I am SO EXCITED about my upcoming Teacher Gifts class!
As a teacher, I know how HUGE it was when a child walked up to me in the morning and handed me a "little something." Not related to my birthday or a holiday, but just a  midweek pick me up letting me know how much I am appreciated. It helped me start our day off better and helped me remember exactly why I was doing what I was doing and to quit focusing on all the paperwork, problems, etc. that come at you at school.

I created this class to do in August so that you could have SIX little inexpensive gifts for your child's teacher. They will be DONE and waiting for you to send to school in your little ones hand at anytime through out the year.

I wanted to show you all six things we will be making in this class on August 5.

I filled this with colorful gum balls, but the fry box could hold just about ANYTHING!

How cute would this be filled with little muffins??
Or big round cookies, perfect for an afternoon snack!

This is a gift card holder. A $5 Sonic Gift Card is like GOLD to a teacher!
I can't tell you how many of us run through Sonic to get that COLD drink on the way home from school!

These fabulous bags can hold just about anything you want to give your teacher. Oatmeal Cream Pie's are perfect! ;-)

How about handing her this a afternoon pick up! A cold bottle of water is fabulous, but when it's dressed up like this, she might just cry!

This is my favorite- a password book! We have SO MANY passwords at my school to try and remember. I started keeping a little journal with them all written down a few years ago and it was such a life saver. Make it super cute, and it turns something that's usually mundane into a fabulous little desk bauble!

Ok, so what are the details for this class?
Included in your class fee is this adorable stamp set:

These gifts and stamps are NOT JUST FOR TEACHERS.  I developed this class with my kids' teachers in mind, but the could easily be used for anyone in your life! Coworkers, neighbors, family members, birthday party favors, etc. Really, the possibilities are endless!

Teacher Gifts Class
Aug. 5, 6-8 PM

$40 Clear/$47 Wood
To go $50/$57 (shipped)
Class fee includes the Num Num Stamp Set, all materials to make six gifts and a full color instruction PDF.

If you have more than one teacher in your life, you can add on an addition supply pack for $10. You will have the stamp set so all you will need to do is stamp and assemble! I will have everything cut and punched for you.

Please make sure you RSVP by July 29 so that I have time to order your materials. If you order the class To Go it will be mailed out to you around August 7.

#hello and more Convention Display Boards

Are you tired of this set yet? I'm not! I LOVE it! This is another swap I made for my Stamp Club last week and for convention. It features the #hello and So Social sets!

Below is another version. I decided to go with the first one because it was a tad simpler and I like smile when I am making a million of them!

One of the things we all look forward to at convention are the Display Boards. I was blessed again to be asked to contribute to these amazing boards! Here are each of the boards as a whole and I will post closer up pictures of some of my favorites in the coming weeks. Also, check the link at the bottom for our Pinterest Board!

These Display Boards feature the stamp sets we got while at convention as well as Project Life by Stampin' Up.
