Sale A Bration Celebration

This past weekend, I had a wonderful event at my home. It was my "Sale A Bration Celebration" which was exclusive for customers and downline who met certain goals during Sale A Bration. It was free for them and hopefully reflected how grateful I am for their business and friendship! I reached several big goals during Sale A Bration, including the incentive trip to the Mediterranean, and I really wanted to thank them!
With over 30 attendees, I had a big job! But I had so much fun planning this special event! Everyone made this fun set of cards.
I'm not sure where, but I saw an adorable set of cards in the berry basket a few months ago and knew it was the perfect project for this event.

Wouldn't this make a sweet gift?

The basket included five cards and five envelopes
created on the Envelope Punch Board.

Not only did they get to create this project, but I had 12 awesome door prizes, including the two extra envelope punch boards I purchased for this class and many stamp sets. They all got a door prize ticket in their swag bags and earned more tickets by signing up for upcoming classes, clubs and even joining my team!

Here are their swag bags. I thought they were so cute! I used the same colors and paper from the project to create a few extra goodies for each guest.

Here you can see the extra goodies each one received.

We also had a Chocolate Fountain! I purchased this fountain just for this event and I was so excited to use it! Unfortunately, it was super loud and didn't work right. But, chocolate is chocolate, right? We had no problem finishing off almost everything on the buffet!! :-)

I had three tables set up and everyone found a seat to create their projects. We staggered times a little to fit everyone in.

And I made a special banner for the event as well. It turned out so cute!! Everything is SU except for the letters. I cut those on my e-cutter using a font on my computer called Heartland Regular. I am sure it was a free download, just Google it if you want it. The rest of the banner was made with the Starburst and Circle Framelits, Butterfly Thinlits and the Bouquet Bigz Die. I used DSP from the All Abloom DSP Stack and the colors that coordinate.

And smiling faces and relaxed laughter was all I needed to hear and see to know we were all having a good time!

These sweet ladies brought ME a gift! Can you imagine?? I was celebrating THEM and they brought me something!! I was so shocked and moved by their thoughtfulness. It truly speaks volumes about this "job" of mine and how at the heart of everything I do is the relationships created by sharing our love for paper crafts. It's what keeps me motivated, excited and inspired. I can not imagine where I would be or what I would be doing if I hand't signed up with Stampin' Up six years ago... God truly had a wonderful plan for me! I am imensly blessed!

Ok, that's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by! I have two more videos planned this week, so make sure you stop by again!

Mother's Love

Hello everyone!
I've got another craft fair coming up in a few weeks, so I've been trying to make some Mother's Day cards to have on hand. It's the day before Mother's Day, so you know lots of people will be realizing they haven't gotten their own mother anything yet! LOL!

I created this card using two stamps form the Occasions Catalog; Mother's Love and Something Lacy Background Stamp.

I also created a video to go along with it. I think it's rather simple and you can easily reproduce it if you'd like!

Card Dimensions:
Card Base: 4 1/4" X 11" Calypso Coral
Whisper White 4 1/8" X 5 3/8"
 Crisp Cantaloupe: 4" X 5 1/4"
Calypso Coral:3 1/8" X 3 5/8"
Whisper White 3" X 3 1/2"

Tiny Box of Sunshine Video Tutorial

I've decided to step it up a little in one area of my business. That area is teaching through VIDEOS! Now, let me tell ya, I don't love making videos. Everything always goes wrong and gets messed up when that camera comes on! But, I know you guys love videos (I do too!!) so I am making it a priority! My goal is one new video a week. Hopefully, I can do two a week and eventually more, but for now, we'll say one. You guys keep me accountable too, ok?

But, there is something I need from you all! First, make sure you subscribe to my You Tube channel (click on the icon below!!) Second, please leave me some feedback and ideas! If I don't hear from you, I will loose steam and give up... Give me some ideas! What do you want to see? What don't you want to see? 3D? Techniques? Basics? Everything?? Give me some ideas. Tell me, y'all!! :-)

OK, so I love today's project!! As you know, I have come up with a class to go based on the Ray of Sunshine Stamp Set. Today, I wanted to make a few little goodies for everyone who purchased this class to go, and I came up with these TINY Boxes of Sunshine.

It's difficult to see how tiny they are. But, the box is just 2" across! That circle is just 1". Tiny! And when a box is tiny, it requires less "stuff" to go inside, which means you spend less money. Candy is expensive! And, I eat most of it and gain weight! Uhg! ;-) So, tiny is good!

Look at the bottom. Do you recognize that box?? It's actually something already made that you can purchase in the catalog!

And here are some of them all lined up ready to be filled. I just love these little babies!

And did you notice it's a SHAKER!! Hello! A shaker box! So. Fun. My girls love these shakers!

Ok, so do you want to know how to make it? Well, without further ado, here is today's video. (And just so you know, EVERYTHING that could go wrong today, did! But, I figure we'd just "keep it real!!" Enjoy!

The measurements you need are:
Lid- Daffodil Delight 3" square, scored at 1/2 on all 4 sides, placing a stack of 6 Post It notes on the edge (watch the video!)
All other things are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to check out all my upcoming classes!!
