Today is also June 1, which means it's time for another Stampin' Celebration Blog Hop! If you've already been hoppin', then you just arrived from Cori's blog! Cute stuff, right? I got to pick the inspiration this month, and what do you know, it's pink! Yep, this pretty much screams me and my girls!

For the challenge, I decided to go with a Card Keeper Box. I love the idea of having one place for all your cards so that when you need a card for "insert occasion here" you know just where to find it and you don't have to dig around everywhere (not that I would know about that!)

This would also make a great box to give some cards away in as a gift!

And Zebra! Yep, that's handmade zebra pattern. It's is not DSP! I have a tutorial on how I made all of this down below.

The dividers are very simple. They measure 4 7/8" X 7".

The tabs were created by cutting a 1 3/4" Circle in half. The labels are from Fabulous Phrases and Teeny Tiny Wishes. They were punched with the Small Oval Punch.

The flower was created by using the Daisy Die, which sadly has retired. But, the monogram has not. It is from Broadsheet Alphabet. Ribbon is Melon mambo Polka dot ribbon, also long retired.

And, I created a couple of simple cards that just might be nice to put in the box if your giving it as a gift!

That's a bottle cap. have you seen these being squished in the Big Shot! Love it! Stay tuned for more on them!

Zebra Card Keeper Tutorial

You will need two pieces of Melon Mambo Cardstock;

#1 should measure 11" X 7" and

 #2 should measure 7" X 6".

Using the Simply Scored, score the longer piece on it's longer side and .5", 3", 8" and 10.5" Place the Diagonal plate on the Simple scored and at the 8" mark, score down.

Flip the page completely over (not turn, but flip to the back side) and score again at the 8" mark diagonally.

Fold and trim off the corners.

Add Sticky Strip to the two .5" flaps on the side.

Remove the diagonal plate from your Simply Scored. On your next piece of cardstock, score at .5"and 3" on the longer side. Turn 90 degrees and score at .5 and 5.5" on the shorter side.

Trim the flaps as shown above. Place sticky strip on each of the .5 flaps.

Fold the .5" flaps up and line the longest one along the inside back for your other piece. Adhere.

Fold in the wings and adhere to the base flaps.

Fold up the front and adhere to the remaining .5" flaps.

To make the notch, measure in half way from the side and mark with a pencil. Make sure you mark it, don't eyeball it. Trust. Me. :-)

Next, you will need two pieces of white cardstock  that are 6 7/8" X2 7/8". Line them up with the diagonal plate and score straight down from the 0 mark. Trim this corner  piece on each white strip.

To create the zebra stripes, I free handed strips from Basic Black card stock. I made them wavy and I tried to give them a pointy end. I had them coming from either side, creating a central line on each piece.

For the front, cut a piece of whisper White 4 7/8" X 5 7/8". Mark again in the middle and this time, punch it with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. Repeat the Zebra print as described above.

And there you have it! it comes together very quickly! I think I am going to make these on a variety of scales. It's so cute!
